End User Systems Manager / M365 Administrator

Battle Bank, N.A. is seeking an organized, experienced, and responsible individual who will join the team in the End User Systems Manager / M365 Administrator role. The End User Systems Manager / M365 Administrator is responsible for managing Microsoft 365 services, including the M365 productivity suite, Teams, Exchange Online and Microsoft Intune in a fully cloud-native environment. This includes daily administration of M365 (user and group management, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and more) as well as configuring, deploying, and managing endpoint systems using Microsoft Intune. This role will also serve as the initial Tier 1 support technician for the organization, assisting users with the functionality of the full Office productivity suite, device issues, and other cloud application concerns. Over time, this role will build out and lead a small help desk function to support the bank’s growing technology needs.

The End User Systems Manager / M365 Administrator will report directly to the Chief Information Officer. This is a full-time position with a starting pay range of $90,000 to $120,000 depending on experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.
Microsoft 365 Administration
- Create, modify, and manage user accounts, shared mailboxes, distribution groups, Microsoft 365 Groups, and security groups.
- Manage licenses and service configurations across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and related workloads.
- Monitor and maintain the health and security of the Microsoft 365 environment using the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Apply Microsoft best practices for identity lifecycle, access control, and secure collaboration.
Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Management
- Configure, deploy, and manage Windows endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune.
- Create and manage compliance policies, configuration profiles, and application deployments.
- Implement automated provisioning workflows using Windows Autopilot.
- Monitor device health, application performance, and enforce security baselines using Defender for Endpoint and Intune analytics.
Tier 1 Support / User Help Desk
- Serve as the first point of contact for support issues related to Microsoft 365 applications, desktop operating systems, and hardware peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email, Teams, Office apps, file access, and endpoint configuration.
- Escalate complex issues appropriately and document resolution steps.
Knowledge Management & Documentation
- Develop and maintain a centralized knowledge base and technical documentation tailored to the bank’s systems and recurring issues.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for support functions and user onboarding/offboarding.
- Prepare to train and lead additional support personnel as the help desk function grows.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of cumulative experience in M365 administration, Intune endpoint management, and Tier 1/2 end-user support.
- Experience in a financial institution or highly regulated environment is strongly preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Admin Centers, Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra ID, Teams, and SharePoint Online.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Configuration Profiles, and application deployment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, conditional access policies, and compliance settings.
- Proficient in Windows 10/11 endpoint support, Microsoft Office troubleshooting, and hardware/peripheral configuration.
Certifications (Preferred but not required)
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals
Language Ability: Read, analyze and interpret complex documents. Respond effectively to sensitive inquiries. Make persuasive presentations on complex topics to management, public groups and/or boards of directors.
Reasoning Ability: Apply logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
