Global Markets is an integral part of the Battle Bank promise to deliver greater access for clients. The division offers clients the opportunity to buy, sell, take delivery of, borrow against, and store precious metals, open FDIC-insured deposit accounts and certificates of deposit denominated in a variety of foreign currencies, complete personal and commercial foreign exchange transactions, and purchase principal-protected certificates of deposit. The Global Markets Trade Desk Sales Team centers on providing exceptional service and guidance to individual investors interested in Global Markets products. 

 

Battle Bank, N.A. is seeking a Global Markets Trade Desk Sales Associate. The individual in this role will play a critical role in helping retail clients understand and access international investment opportunities, acting as both an educator and trusted resource throughout the client lifecycle. 

 

The Global Markets Trade Desk Sales Associate will report directly to the Global Markets President. This is a full-time position, with a pay range of $90,000 – $110,000 depending on experience. This position offers either: A salary-only compensation model, or a reduced base salary supplemented by the opportunity to earn a performance-based commission plan, the details of which will be mutually agreed upon. Summary of Job Duties:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for retail clients engaging in Global Markets products.
  • Educate clients on the features, risks, and benefits of products including foreign currencies, precious metals, and market-linked instruments.
  • Assist prospective and existing clients with account opening, funding, product selection, and ongoing service needs.
  • Respond to inbound client inquiries via phone, email, and chat with a high level of professionalism and product knowledge.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and promote appropriate solutions based on individual goals and risk profiles.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global economic trends and how they relate to available products.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies regarding product disclosures, suitability, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams in operations, compliance, and marketing to ensure seamless client onboarding and support.
  • Guide clients through digital platforms and tools to enhance self-service and improve overall user experience.
  • Perform periodic outreach to existing clients to review account activity, provide updates on relevant market developments, and ensure continued alignment with investment objectives.
  • Proactively make outbound calls to targeted prospects.
  • Maintain and update the sales pipeline in our CRM to ensure accurate forecasting and follow-up.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in financial services, specifically in client service or sales support within banking, brokerage, or global markets.
  • Strong communication skills with a passion for educating and assisting individual investors.
  • Ability to explain complex financial products in a clear, relatable manner.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Comfort with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic financial tools.
  • Experience with Temenos Transact or Temenos T24 operating platform required.

 

Language Ability: 

Read, analyze and interpret complex documents. Respond effectively to sensitive inquiries while maintaining strict confidentiality. 

 

Mathematical Ability: Work with basic mathematical concepts and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

 

Reasoning Ability:  Apply logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. 

 

Computer Skills: Must be competent in MS Office suite of products. Prior experience with core banking system platforms preferred.
