Battle Bank, N.A. is seeking a friendly, customer-focused, and detail-oriented individual to join the team as an On-Call Universal Banker. An On-Call Universal Banker provides flexible, as-needed banking support to customers, branches, and internal teams. This role ensures continuity of service during peak periods, staff absences, or special projects, while maintaining high standards of customer service, compliance, and accuracy.
The On-Call Universal Banker will report directly to the Community Bank Manager as a member of the Banking Operations team. This is a part-time position with starting hourly pay between $18-$22 depending on experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.
- Assist customers with routine banking transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments)
- Open and service customer accounts in compliance with bank policies and regulations
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, services, and account issues
- Support branch operations during high-volume periods or employee absences
- Follow all security, compliance, and risk management procedures
- Accurately document transactions and maintain confidential customer information
- Identify customer needs and refer appropriate banking products or services
- Collaborate with branch staff and management to ensure smooth operations

Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Prior banking, financial services, or customer service experience preferred
Language Ability: Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees. Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required for effective communication in this role.

This position requires regular attendance in our bank branch located in Upsala, MN on an as-needed basis. Hours will vary based on business needs. Must be comfortable working flexible or variable hours on short notice. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work environment is fast-paced, and heavily reliant on technology.
