Foreign Currency Accounts
The U.S. economy is not a standalone entity. It’s a delicate structure that depends on and is heavily influenced by domestic and international macroeconomic forces, government policies, and other geopolitical or financial variables. While you might have a broad portfolio of many different US stocks and bonds, if your money is solely represented in U.S. currency, guess what? You may not be as diversified as you thought. Â
The Benefits of a Foreign Currency Account
You wouldn’t put all your money in the stock of one company, right? So why have all your investments denominated in one currency? At Battle Bank, we believe in giving our customers the options they deserve. We offer accounts that allow you to buy and hold foreign currencies from a broad menu of about 20 different currencies.
We’re committed to putting the client first which is why we’re offering a competitive currency exchange spread of .75% on all foreign currency accounts.
Our foreign currency accounts can be easily opened with a cash account and provide a simple, secure entry point to global markets.
Open or rollover a Traditional or Roth IRA and purchase American Eagles and other select coins with our Allocated Metals Account.* You can also own metals in a Self-Directed IRA.
Keeping your money is a top priority at Battle Bank and that starts with FDIC insurance. You’ll receive insurance for up to $250,000 in bank deposit accounts denominated in foreign currency.*
*This does NOT mean that your principal is protected. Your foreign currency deposits will fluctuate in value relative to the U.S. dollar, and due to the nature and volatility of the foreign exchange market, the value may fluctuate widely. In the event Battle Bank fails, the FDIC will insure the U.S. dollar value of your deposit at an exchange rate determined by the FDIC.
