Your foreign currency deposits will fluctuate in value relative to the U.S. dollar, and due to the nature and volatility of the foreign exchange market, the value may fluctuate widely. In the event Battle Bank fails, the FDIC will insure the U.S. dollar value of your deposit at an exchange rate determined by the FDIC.
How to Open An Account
Buying and selling foreign currencies begin with a Global Markets High Yield Cash Account, which serves as the funding account for your currency transactions. Once it’s open, you will automatically receive a Global Markets Portfolio. This Portfolio will allow you to buy and sell any of the 20 foreign currencies available.
